Live Recording of the SOUNDSYSTEM Podcast
Music journalists Michaela Peštová, Nora Třísková, and Karel Veselý are coming to GaPa to record a new episode of their music-critical podcast, SOUNDSYSTEM. The theme of the October edition will focus on the new albums by Róisín Murphy, Kylie Minogue, and Nicki Minaj—musicians who have already crossed the age of forty. Does ageism exist in pop music? Does the unyielding cult of youth still dominate pop culture, or do those born earlier also have a chance in the mainstream? The SOUNDSYSTEM podcast crew will discuss all of this and much more during an evening full of video clip excerpts.
The event is part of the Vinyl Music Awards project. The Vinyl Music Awards project is organized with financial support from the statutory city of Brno, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the South Moravian Region, the State Fund for Culture of the Czech Republic, and the city of Prague.
