R.U.R. According to Buchty and Puppets, a performance based on motifs from the famous play by Karel Čapek, was created in collaboration with the Czech Center of the International PEN Club on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the robot. And a robot is, after all, a machine.

Robots, puppets. Machines provide the music, puppets provide the entertainment. Machines generate excitement.

Don't we sometimes turn into puppets ourselves? Aren't emotions a burden? Isn't love a burden? Humans degenerate, the world is infested with robots. Salvation lies in love, but isn't love also a burden? Where is the soul? Where is the spirit? And behold! We are robots.

Performance intended for adult audiences.
